The NBA had 11 games on the schedule tonight. There were plenty of players worthy of the top performer award, but only three can win.
In third was the play of Brandon Jennings who scored 34 points and dished out 9 assists in a lost to the Hawks. In second was the play of Kobe Bryant who scored 38 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in a win over the Kings. And in first was the spectacular play of LeBron James who scored 35 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists in a lost to the Jazz. James heated up and put his team back in the game after they trailed by double digits. James did everything in his power to try to win the game tonight, but the team was unable to convert on the last possession that would have won them the game.
