Knicks defeat Raptors 106-87

The New York Knicks won their fourth straight game tonight against the Toronto Raptors winning 106-87. This was a very well performed game by the Knicks. The starters dominated tonight as Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Jeremy Lin, and Tyson Chandler all scored more than 17 points tonight. They put the Raptors away in the fourth quarter as they outscored them 27-19.

This was a game where the Knicks were locked in Jeremy Lindefensively and dominated the boards. As a team the Knicks grabbed 46 rebounds and grabbed 16 offensive rebounds. They played well tonight and continue to show that they can be a dangerous defensive team if everyone plays hard.

Jeremy Lin played very well tonight as he scored 18 points and dished out 10 assists. Lin continues to improve in regards to turnovers as he only had 3 tonight. He is becoming more consistent in his scoring and assists which will really helping the team. The only concern for him is on the defensive side of the ball because he always gets caught under screens, which allows the opposing point guard to get easy shots.

The Raptors posed no threat to the Knicks tonight, but the Knicks have to remember that there is a game tomorrow against the Philadelphia 76ers. That game will be a huge test for the Knicks who are looking to make the division race a little tighter with a win. The Knicks showed tonight that they can have scoring droughts, but their defense can create opportunities that give them easy shots. Again the Knicks win tonight 106-87.
