Knicks rout Pacers 115-100

Tonight the Knicks dominated the Indiana Pacers as they won 115-100. This was the second consecutive blow out win by the Knicks. They started this game looking to get another win and tonight they proved Tyson Chandlerthat they wanted the win. Carmelo Anthony is starting to play at another level. Tonight Anthony played some excellent defense that led to turnovers. This is the level of intensity that the Knicks want from Anthony. He scored 12 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists. He was very energized tonight and led the team with his effort and defense.

Amare Stoudemire had 8 points and 6 rebounds tonight. He played nice defense as well, recording a block and a steal. So far since the Knicks have a new coach they have played at another level. If they keep this up they could make a nice run to the playoffs. The play of Tyson Chandler can not go unnoticed as he scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. His defensive ability was at a high tonight as he recorded 4 blocks. This was the Knicks best defensive game simply because they created turnovers. As a team the Knicks are playing good and one player isn’t doing everything. They have to keep up this effort if they want to keep being successful.

The Knicks bench is producing very well and it is because of Steve Novak and JR Smith. Both players combined for 28 points and continue to be a force off the bench. This has been the best the Knicks have looked on both ends of the court all season. They have been jumping out to early leads and are able to hold them. The Knicks will face the Pacers tomorrow night in Indiana and the Knicks will have to play hard yet again.
