The New York Knicks will face the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. This will be the third and final game between the two teams this season. The winner tonight will win the season series and break the 1-1tie.
The Knicks have been a very energized team over the last four games and are looking better in each game. Their defense has led the charge in most games, making the other team struggle for a consistent offense. This game tonight will be a test for the Knicks simply because the 76ers are young and fast. If they are able to force turnovers they will win this game.
Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire have led by example over the last four games. Their effort is there and they are playing hard on the defensive end. As the leaders of the team, Anthony and Stoudemire have to play with energy and toughness. The rest of the team will mimic what they do so it is very important that they come out and play every night.
Jeremy Lin has limited his turnovers over the last three games which is very important. Over the course of the season Lin has struggled with turnovers because of a fast paced offense. But now that the pace has slowed a little, Lin has shown that he can limit the turnovers. His ability on the offensive end is really good at this point.
The Knicks are looking for another win and this time they will need to beat a good 76ers team in their building. This game will be televised on ESPN and MSG at 7:00 PM. Let’s go Knicks!
