Today the Mets announced that they have selected the contracts of RHP Miguel Batista and OF Mike Baxter from the Buffalo Bison's. They also announced that RHP Pedro Beato has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder stiffness. That move is retroactive to March 26th.
Also the Mets placed RHP D.J. Carrasco on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26th. And lastly to make room on the 40 man roster the Mets sent RHP Armando Rodriguez to Binghamton. And they put RHP Josh Stinson on waivers, which he was later claimed by the Milwaukee Brewers.
