The New York Knicks will conclude their regular season tonight when they face off against the Charlotte Bobcats. The Knicks are coming off wins against two playoff teams in the Hawks and Clippers. Tonight they face the worst team in the NBA and if all goes well they will win their third straight game tonight.
Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler will both be out tonight. Amare Stoudemire is expected to play simply because the Knicks want to keep him in the rhythm of playing. In Anthony and Chandler’s place will likely be Steve Novak and Dan Gadzuric. Novak would be an excellent starter because the Knicks need to come out early and put the Bobcats away. They can not afford to play a close game with this team. As the regular season ends it is very important the Knicks win tonight and keep the momentum going.
The most important thing about tonight is just winning to capture the 7th seed. The Knicks right now are preparing to face either the Heat or the Bulls. So far the players seem to be ready for the challenge of beating either the second best team or the best team. This game tonight is one the Knicks need to finish off their season right. A lost tonight could possibly put them in position to face the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs.
