Pre-Game: Knicks vs. Bucks 8:00 PM

The New York Knicks will play another big game tonight as they face the Milwaukee Bucks. For the Knicks, they are coming off a lost to the Chicago Bulls last night. Tonight they will face a team that is looking to defeat them to try and get to the playoffs.

Carmelo Anthony has been very spectacular over the last week or so. Tonight he will need to continue to score at a high rate, but will really need some help from his teammates. In games that Anthony scores over 30 points the Knicks seem to just rely on Anthony to win games. The important thing for Anthony is that he needs to somehow keep his teammates involved while still getting his shots. Tonight Anthony will likely score his points tonight, but the key is whether or not his teammates can help him.

The offense for the Knicks has struggled in moments of the games that they are losing. Tonight they have to limit turnovers and keep trying to execute offensively. Their defense has forced turnovers, but they have struggled to score points. This game is one the Knicks will want simply because it can give them some more breathing room in the eastern conference standings.

Over the last three games Steve Novak has scored just 11 points. This is the first and only slump that Novak has gone into. Tonight the Knicks could really use about 15 points from him. His shooting has been very good this season and tonight is a night that Novak can really help the team.

This game will be very physical and close throughout. The Bucks are a much improved team since they acquired Monta Ellis from the Warriors early in February. The Knicks have to be energized tonight and keep Ellis and Brandon Jennings from scoring the bulk of the points tonight.

Live on MSG at 8:00 PM the Knicks and Bucks will battle. This is a major game for the Knicks to win and if they can win it they will take a whole lot of pressure off themselves. Let’s go Knicks!
