The New York Knicks received horrible news in regards to G Baron Davis. The team announced that Davis suffered a partial tear of the patella tendon, complete tears of ACL and MCL. The estimated recovery time will be 12 months and Davis is scheduled to have surgery later this week.
This is very terrible news for Davis who came back from a herniated disc earlier in the season. Davis said earlier in the season that he thought his career was over after going through the back injury, but this injury could be the end of Davis’ career. Davis averaged 6.1 points and 4.7 assists in 33 games with the Knicks this season.
