During today’s game, Mets IF Justin Turner left the game with a right right ankle sprain after trying to get back to first base after a single. The X-rays on Turner’s ankle came back negative which is very good for the team and Turner. The Mets replaced Turner with David Wright, who made his second career appearance at that position. This news is very good because it looked worst then what it was.
In addition, talk to the doctor about what sorts of support you should be using as you heal. Perhaps wearing an ace bandage would help, if you were to wear it for several weeks as you heal. Or perhaps convert over to hightop sneakers, and wear them all the time, for their support.
