Today the New York Mets recalled OF Vinny Rottino from Triple-A Buffalo and have optioned RHP Chris Schwinden back to Buffalo. Rottino had a very productive game a couple of days ago when he hit three homeruns and knocked in five RBI’s for the Bison. Right now Rottino will likely see time coming off the bench and if he can do something with the bat, he could likely see a start sometime this week.
