The New York Knicks will face the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the playoffs tonight. The Knicks are coming off a Game 4 win in which they were finally able to beat the Heat. Tonight both teams are looking for a win. For the Heat a win would move them to the next round, but for the Knicks they will go home with a loss.
The Knicks played very well in the last game. They were able to hit shots and put forth the effort to get the win. Tonight they will need Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire to play like leaders. They were very good in Game 4 and tonight will have to play the same way to help their team stay alive in the series. In the last game the Knicks were able to run the offense more effectively as they moved with and without the ball. At times the Knicks ran nice plays that got Anthony and Stoudemire involved. Their defense also was better in that game. Both played with a sense of urgency and that made all the difference.
The Heat are looking to protect their home-court tonight. After their loss to the Knicks on Sunday, they are really ready to end this series tonight. They will come out with energy and look to end this series tonight. Their defense will be overwhelming tonight and the Knicks will have to fight through that just to win. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade will do everything in their power to win tonight. Both have had an outstanding series and tonight are looking to lead their team to victory. James and Wade have figured out how to play alongside each other and it is working very good for them. Each night one or both will have a big game. Their ability to work off each others game is remarkable. Tonight they will have big games, but will it come in a win or lost?
This game will either be the end of the Knicks season or the continuation of it. Both the Knicks and Heat are looking to win and both teams will be in a tough battle tonight. This game will be televised on TNT and MSG at 7:00 PM. This should be a great game tonight, but the best team should win. Let’s go Knicks!
