Pre-Game: Brewers vs. Mets 7:10 PM

image

The New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers will finish off a quick two game series tonight at Citi Field. The Mets won the first game and tonight can get the sweep with a win. The offense for the Mets has done the job in big situations. David Wright is playing really well right now and continues to collect hits. Last night Wright had a hit and scored twice. As the season goes on, it is very important for Wright to be the leader of this team. This season has started very well for the Mets and they need Wright to stay successful. Tonight expect Wright to be locked in and help get this team some runs.

Frank Francisco was able to notch his 9th save of the season last night, but it didn’t come easy. With a three run lead Francisco gave up a run and allowed the tying runs to reach base. He was able to get a strikeout and a fly-out to end the game. Terry Collins continues to have faith in Francisco even with his recent struggles. Right now Francisco may have more confidence after last night.

Probable Pitchers:

Zack Greinke (3-1) 3.35 ERA, 46 strikeouts

Dillon Gee (2-2) 4.78 ERA, 33 strikeouts
