The New York Mets and San Diego Padres will start a four game series tonight at Citi Field. After a 3-3 road trip the Mets are looking to come home and beat a team that struggles to produce runs. Right now the Mets continue to stay afloat despite having recent trouble. This game tonight should be a nice one for the Mets to take simply because they need to take the first game of every series to get momentum. Tonight the Mets offense will have to produce for their young pitcher. Ronny Cedeno will be the leadoff hitter tonight as manager Terry Collins is looking for a spark from the top of the order. This lineup tonight has the potential to produce runs. Ike Davis will be on the bench tonight because of the Mets facing a left-handed pitcher. This game should be fun and interesting. Let’s go Mets!
