Tonight the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will continue their three game series at Citi Field. The Phillies won yesterday and right now have control of the series. They were able to get timely hits to get the win. The Mets bullpen really struggled. Manny Acosta really cost the Mets yesterday afternoon as he continues to struggle to make smart pitches. His pitches seem to run right down the middle of the plate which is allowing the opposition to get easy hits. Tonight the Mets will have to play better on both sides of the field to have a better chance in this game. Right now the Mets have been playing very well, but struggle at times to score runs. Today they have to stay focused on getting timely and try to capitalize on their chances with runners on base. David Wright has struggled over the last four games and really needs to get going tonight and help give his team the best chance to win. This game will come down to pitching and defense. The team that can get the job done doing that will win this game. Let’s go Mets!
