Pre-Game: Phillies vs. Mets 7:10 PM

image

The Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will conclude a three game series tonight at Citi Field. So far both teams have won a game, so the winner tonight will win the series. Both teams have played hard in this series and tonight shouldn’t be any different. The production the Mets are getting from the promoted players have really been important to their success this season. Omar Quintanilla came up last night and delivered two doubles and two runs scored. Not only was Quintanilla good last night, but Jeremy Hefner was also impressive. Hefner received his first win at the major league level and also had a homerun for his first major league hit. Last night those two really impressed and they may last a while longer if they can continue to play well.

Tonight the Mets will have to play good baseball and get timely hits to win this game. The fight that this team has is really impressive. There is absolutely no quit in this team and they continue to fight every night. This game can be a very nice win for the Mets, if they can get the job done. The next series will be very tough so any added momentum will be very good for the Mets. Can the Mets win another series or will the Phillies get the final win? Let’s go Mets!
