The New York Mets will host the Cincinnati Reds tonight at Citi Field. The Mets are coming off a lost to the Brewers in which their offense never came through. Tonight look for the Mets to be more aggressive at the plate and try to make things happen. David Wright continues to be the leader for this team. Not only has Wright hit well, but his defensive game has been even better. Tonight Wright is looking to continue his nice season and get the Mets some early run support. This Mets team has leaned on Wright all season long and so far it has paid off. The Mets have to get more from Ike Davis who has had a very disappointing season thus far. Davis continues to find himself out in front of pitches rather than waiting on them. Tonight would be the perfect night for Davis to breakout and have a major impact for this team. Tonight the Mets have to get their offensive game going hopefully leading to a win. Let’s go Mets!
