The New York Mets will continue their series with the St. Louis Cardinals tonight at Citi Field. So far in this series the Mets starting pitching has been phenomenal and has led to two victories over the defending champions. Tonight the Mets will have all of the momentum on their side. This season the Mets have shut the doubters up and tonight a win will keep the doubters away yet again. This game tonight is a major game in that the Mets could get 8 games over .500. Right now the Mets are playing their best baseball of the season and are doing it all with their pitching. Tonight the offense has to get it done again and try to keep their pitchers in the lead. This team has shown that they can win games in bunches and that is the case right now, but they have to continue to execute and play error free baseball. Let’s go Mets!
