Pre-Game: Mets vs. Nationals 1:05 PM

image

The New York Mets and Washington Nationals will conclude a three game series at Nationals Park. In this series the Mets have lost both games and haven’t been strong defensively in both games. Today the Mets have to get back to playing fundamental baseball and make plays to close out innings. Last night the Mets had only three hits. This game they need to get hits and drive in runs. Somehow the Mets have struggled against the Nationals this season and could lose another game to them today. Everyone has to play well today to get this win. The Mets would be swept if they lose this game. They could use a win just to get back some momentum to bring with them back to New York when they face the Yankees tomorrow. The Mets and Nationals will both be looking to get a win today, but only one can win. Let’s go Mets!
