The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed shooting guard Brandon Roy. The contract is a two year deal worth $10 million dollars. Roy retired before the start of last season with bad knees. Now he is on way back into the NBA feeling healthy and ready to help the Timberwolves.
This was an excellent pick up by the Wolves, who now get a solid guard who can hit big shots. The Wolves were playoff bound last season before Ricky Rubio went down. This season expect the Wolves to have a better chance at winning more games with Roy on the team.
Jason Quick of The Oregonian had it first.
