Howard Beck of the New York Times is reporting that the New York Knicks will not match the offer sheet for Jeremy Lin.
The Houston Rockets made a three year offer that is worth $25 million. That contract would have resulted in a tax penalty if the Knicks would have accepted the offer. Now the Knicks will likely start Raymond Felton with Jason Kidd as the back-up.
I was able to contact the team, but they were unable to comment on this breaking news.
