Knicks make offer to Suns for Nash

The New York Knicks have made the Phoenix Suns an offer to get veteran point guard Steve Nash. Right now the deal will consist of the following players: Toney Douglas, Landry Fields, Jerome Jordan, and Dan Gadzuric. According to the Paul Coro of azcentral.com, the Knicks will not include Iman Shumpert in the deal. In the current proposed deal the Knicks would send $3 million to the Suns along with the non-guaranteed salaries of Jordan and Gadzuric.

If Nash decided to join the Knicks, this would be a very nice deal for the Knicks. They would be able to hold on to their young talent in Shumpert and could keep together more of their core guys. Don’t expect a decision for about a week or two if not longer.
