Today the New York Mets announced that they have placed RHP Dillon Gee on the 15-day disabled list. Gee was hospitalized earlier in the day after dealing with numbness in his fingers. After tests doctors found a blood clot in Gee’s shoulder. They were able to break up the clot, but Gee will remain hospitalized for another day or two.
The Mets will have to make a decision on who will replace Gee in the rotation.
