Today the New York Knicks announced that they have re-signed shooting guard JR Smith to a two year deal. As always the terms weren’t released, but according to sources Smith will make $2.8 million per year. The second year of the contract will be a player option.
Smith became a very important player for the Knicks during the second half. Smith was active in all areas of his game. At times he made costly errors, but was always able to make up for his mistakes. He will have a big year for the Knicks next year and will still be an important player for the team.
