Today the New York Knicks announced that they have acquired center Marcus Camby from the Houston Rockets in a sign-and-trade deal. The Knicks sent Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan, and 2 second round picks to the Rockets.
Camby will start his second stint with the Knicks after playing for them in the late 90’s early 00’s. This move allows the Knicks to have a nice solid back-up for Tyson Chandler. They can also play Camby at the power forward spot if necessary. This was a nice move by the Knicks to get a solid defender and great rebounder.
