Today Carmelo Anthony put on a performance 
to remember as he scored a USA record 37 points. Anthony was on fire from behind the three point arc as he hit ten three pointers. Anthony beat out Stephon Marbury who previously had the U.S. record with 31 points. Anthony was unconscious on the floor today. Making unbelievable shots from everywhere on the court. His performance was possibly the greatest of all time in USA Olympic history.
The USA team also set a new Olympic record with the most points in a Olympic game as they amassed 156 points. This game today really showed that the United States is just on another level in World play. They also set a new record for three pointers made in a game as they demolished the previous record of 13 as they connected on 29 three pointers. The U.S. would go on to win by 83 points, beating Nigeria 156-73.
