Knicks Season Preview: Pablo Prigioni

The Knicks added a very solid veteran player to the team this offseason. Pablo Prigioni has had a very successful career overseas. Over the course of his career Prigioni work his way to the starting point guard on the Argentinean National team. His leadership is very good and that could be a key for the Knicks. This season the Knicks are paying little for Prigioni, but his leadership could give the Knicks more.

What to Expect

Being 35-years-old, Prigioni will likely have to wait for an injury to see time on the floor. With that being said, Prigioni will have to prove himself to the team before seeing an increase in minutes.

If Prigioni can find consistent minutes he could be a nice fit. A scoring average of four to six points a game with four assists, Prigioni would be very productive for his position on the team. But at this point his role will be determined after training camp and the preseason.

If the Knicks can make it to the playoffs, Prigioni could be valuable in that area simply because he is experienced in big games.
