New York Knickerbockers Executive Vice President and General Manager Glen Grunwald announced today that the team has waived guard Oscar Bellfield, forwards John Shurna and Mychel Thompson and center Henry Sims.
Bellfield, 6-2, 190-pounds, recorded two points, two rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes in two games this preseason.
Shurna, 6-9, 220-pounds, recorded seven points and six rebounds over 43 minutes in five preseason games.
Thompson, 6-6, 205-pounds, averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds over 16.2 minutes in six preseason games (two starts).
Sims, 6-10, 245-pounds, averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds over 11.2 minutes in five preseason games (one start).
The roster stands at 15 players.
