During the opening offensive set for the Knicks, center Tyson Chandler was injured in a collision with Gerald Wallace. Chandler went down holding his left knee, but would get up and walk off the court under his own power. Moments later Chandler was later seen walking back to the locker room with the Knicks training staff following him.
This injury would have major implications for the Knicks, who need Chandler to be their defensive anchor.
