Knicks defeat Wizards 108-87

The New York Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 108-87 tonight to earn their 11th win of the season.

Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith both scored 20 points tonight in a rout over the Wizards. Anthony found his teammates five times for five assists. His passing has really made the Knicks a much better team this season. Smith also found his teammates tonight as he dished out six assists.

As a team tonight the Knicks were able to take care of business and win the game. Their believing in one another and that is providing trust which makes the game much easier.

Pablo Prigioni was a huge success tonight as he scored 8 points and dished out 5 assists. Prigioni has stepped up nicely since Jason Kidd went on the injury list with back spasms. As the season continues to go on Prigioni has to stick to his game as a pass first point guard. His job is to find his teammates and he has done that this season for the most part.

Tyson Chandler scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in tonight’s game. While Steve Novak scored 9 points off the bench.

The Knicks will play the Phoenix Suns on Sunday hoping to continue winning. Tonight the team was able to win handily yet again, but they have to keep focus and not let up.
