The New York Knicks announced today that Carmelo Anthony had his right knee drained. Anthony’s status for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers is questionable.![]()
Anthony struggled in two games after missing three games with a sore right knee. He put off having the knee drained until last night, when he left the game in the third quarter. With 20 games remaining, the Knicks need Anthony as healthy as possible. Today’s draining of his knee hopefully can rejuvenate him and help get the Knicks on a solid path to the playoffs.
