Bobcats defeat Knicks 106-95

In a game that featured only seven Knick players, the Charlotte Bobcats would defeat the Knicks 106-95.

Chris Copeland was the source of offense for the Knicks as he scored a career high 32 points. Copeland was outstanding in converting on open shots. He also grabbed seven rebounds and was a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.

In what was a nice game for him, Steve Novak emerged with great shooting. Novak would connected on five three-pointers and would score 17 points. In the playoffs Novak will be a very important player for the Knicks. His scoring could make the team that much more lethal. Tonight it was nice to see Novak have a nice night.

Overall this was a game in which had little meaning. But the performances by Copeland and Novak could not go unnoticed. Yes, the they played the Bobcats, but they are still a professional team.

The Knicks will close out the season on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden. That game shouldn’t have any of the main players in it, but Carmelo Anthony did say that he could play Wednesday just to stay in the flow of the game.
