The Miami Heat bounced back nicely tonight, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 103-74. This was a very close game throughout, but late in the third quarter the Heat would get hot and would blow this game wide open.
After scoring four points in the first half, LeBron James showed why he is the MVP. James would score 17 points while collecting 8 rebounds and 7 assists. He also had three steals and three blocks. His game was the difference for the Heat. He attacked and played the perfect game in the second half. The Spurs couldn’t stop him and he delivered for his team.
Mario Chalmers was a source of offense as he scored 19 points to lead the Heat. Chalmers really was a huge factor for the Heat and delivered in a huge game.
The Spurs will now head home for three straight games. The Heat will try to get some wins in a very tough environment. Tonight the Heat showed that after a loss they know how to win. Simply put, this is now a series.
