NBA Finals: Spurs steal game one from Heat; Win 92-88

The San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat battled in a very tough game. The Spurs would put together a fourth quarter that saw them outscore the Heat 23-16. Leading the way for the Spurs was Tony Parker. His ability to score in a variety of ways, especially around the basket, was spectacular. He would score 21 points and hand out six assists. This was a dominating performance by Parker, who continues to have a huge playoff run.

LeBron James was dominant again tonight. James was a rebounding animal as he collected 18 rebounds. Those rebounds were huge in giving the Heat the stops to either hold the lead at the time or stay in the game. James also scored 18 points and had 10 assists. His overall play was big tonight, but it did come in a loss. He did all he could, but his team would fall short tonight.

The Spurs take a very big game with tonight’s win. They now have taken home field advantage away and have series control. The Heat will make their adjustments for game two and should be ready to get this series even.
