New York Knickerbockers Executive Vice President and General Manager Glen Grunwald announced today that the team has signed free agent forward C.J. Leslie to a contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal will not disclosed.
Leslie, 6-9, 200-pounds, declared for the 2013 NBA Draft after his junior season at North Carolina State University. He averaged 13.7 points, on 49.7-percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds and 1.37 blocks over 28.9 minutes in 99 games with the Wolfpack. As a junior, he averaged 15.1 points, on 51.9-percent shooting, and 7.4 rebounds and 1.23 blocks over 32.4 minutes in 35 games.
He is expected to play for the Knicks’ entry at the 2013 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, NV.
