Brooklyn Nets forward Tornike Shengelia will undergo surgery on Wednesday, July 31, to repair a damaged meniscus in his left knee, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today. A further medical update will be issued following surgery.
In his rookie season, the native of Georgia appeared in 19 games for Brooklyn, averaging 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 4.9 minutes per game.
