The New York Knicks have announced that Andrea Bargnani is out indefinitely with a torn ligament in his left elbow. Bargnani suffered the injury in third quarter of last night’s game when he fell awkwardly driving to the basket.
This is a very big loss for the Knicks who are already without Amare Stoudemire and Kenyon Martin. The Knicks now will dwell on the duo of Jeremy Tyler and Cole Aldrich to fill Bargnani’s void.
Bargnani was averaging 13 points and five rebounds per game in 42 games this season.
