The New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a trade today per ESPN’s Marc Stein. The Knicks will send Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Jose Calderon, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Larkin, and Wayne Ellington. In addition, the Knicks will also receive two second round picks in this trade. Picks 34 and 51 of the second round of tomorrow’s draft.
This is a very nice haul for the Knicks, who have made trading really messy in the past. They get back a young player in Larkin, but also pick up two draft picks. Not to mention the leadership of Calderon.
Things are looking up for New York.
