Breaking News: Knicks on verge of trading Chandler and Felton

ESPN’s Marc Stein is reporting that the New York Knicks and Dallas are close to making the first trade of the offseason. In the reported deal, the Knicks would send both Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to the Mavericks in exchange for Jose Calderon, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Larkin, and Wayne Ellington.image

If the trade were to happen as presently constructed, this deal will help New York right away. Of course they lose a defensive guy and rebounder in Chandler, but they get back two solid guards in Calderon and Larkin. Larkin is viewed as a top prospect in some basketball circles and with him in this deal, New York really would get a gem.

This is a developing story, but any new information will be posted.
