The NFL has fined Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski $7,500 for spiking the ball in the face of a Jets player. Gronkowski spiked the ball after scoring a touchdown in the third quarter which resulted in a penalty. Gronkowski said earlier this week that he wouldn’t stop spiking the ball in future touchdown celebrations.
